Mary Ann (nee Scheu) Blue of Cedar Hill, Missouri was born September 12, 1957 in San Diego, California to Richard and Margaret (nee Murphey) Scheu and entered her eternal reward on Friday, August 31, 2023, at the age of 65 years, 11 months, and 19 days.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Daryl Blue; three daughters Jessica Glynn, Jennifer Cossey, and Kate Blue; three grandchildren Devan Cossey, Vanessa Cossey, and Emma Blue; two siblings, Dan Scheu, and Angie Scheu: one nephew Joshua Scheu, and numerous extended family and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly.
Mary was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Mary’s family was the most important thing in her world. She was an excellent homemaker and seamstress and was very artistic. She loved to cook, travel, craft, research her family genealogy, and was a great organizer.
Mary was a faithful attender of Faith Community Church of House Springs, Missouri and served faithfully for many years with the Golden Agers ministry, where she was able to use her God-given gifts to serve others in need.
Mary will be fondly remembered for her kindness and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Mary’s final words just days before her home-going: “My most fervent prayer and wish is that you develop a relationship with Jesus Christ and celebrate eternity in heaven with me. Love is truly the only thing you can take with you, and I’ve been so blessed to know you and love you. Next stop: Heaven! God bless all of you and your families. Love Always, Mary”.
Public visitation will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., followed by Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. at Faith Community Church, 4824 Scottsdale Road, House Springs, Missouri 63051.
