Mary Dolores (Dori) Ellis, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at the age of 69. She was born on October 2, 1955, to the late Lawrence and Catherine (nee Smith) Dedert.

She is preceded in death by her son Scott, her sister Debbie (Ron), brothers Dennis (Phyllis) Dean (Lisa), Dan, aunt Patricia & uncle Kenneth Kays.

Loving mother of Elizabeth (Daniel) Parker, Lisa (Jeremy) Gordon; cherished grandmother of Braxton, Lyra, Meelah, and Josephine; beloved sister and sister- in -law of Diane, Denice (Dennis) Dale, Dru (Greg),Don, Doug, Dixie (Henry) and Darcey; cousin, aunt, and a dear friend to many. Mary was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her and left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her warmth, kindness, positivity,and genuine spirit brought happiness to those around her.

She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, April 6th from 10am-2pm. A memorial service will follow immediately at 2pm at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral Home, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. St. Charles, MO 63304.
